Ukulogical studies

A peripatetic AUAS member recently visited the Ukulogical Museum in Brussels and met Dr Luc Tegenbos, Museum Director and Professor of Ukulogical Science. His research has revealed that, contrary to popular belief, the ukulele originates from Patagonia. Archeological excavations in this region have resulted in the discovery of the earliest ukulele sound hole which has been shown by carbon dating to pre-date humanity. Dr Luc’s extensive collection of ukuleles from all parts of the world shows the many facets of this remarkable instrument. His sends his warmest greetings to the Adelaide Ukulele Appreciation Society.
